“Submit.”
The king, his rich purple robes torn and stained, was forced to his knees in front of the horse. The white steed whinnied as his rider aimed his bow and arrow at the former ruler.
Conquest didn’t know the name of the king who he had bested, but it didn’t matter. His forces had won and the man vanquished. His was a lost cause and he knew it.
